Special note: Bet you thought I was gone, huh? Nah, just becoming a mommy. :) My little one has been growing quickly and along with my other child (aka my husband) has been taking up all of my time. And I went back to work. So, I've been a busy girl, but I didn't forget my writing. I'm almost done with the next 3 stories to the series and they'll all be posted within a very short amount of time from each other. I can't promise what will happen after the stories in progress are done, but they should hold you over until I decide what to do.

Also, this hasn't been officially beta'd. I may update it or fix little things in the future, but that'll all be posted at my site and annouced on the what's new page.

The foursome hugged for what seemed like eternity, each one of them shedding tears of joy and relief.

"Okay, we really need to stop crying. I've cried more than my share this week," Buffy confessed, keeping her hold on her friends and Watcher, regardless.

"Right," Giles said as he broke apart from the group hug. "Why don't we sit?"

Collectively, the group moved towards the table and chairs across the library, each taking one of the four remaining chairs. Buffy didn't mind Cordelia and Oz being there for her explanation. They had as much interest in the situation as the others, even if they weren't close friends.

Spike and Angel continued to keep their distance from the group, letting Buffy stand on her own unless she needed them. The two took a seat on the stairs leading up to the stacks, within eye-range of Buffy.

Still sniffing away the tears, Buffy steadied herself and started things off. "So, you read the book?"

"Yes, that did seem to explain...the technical aspect of the situation," Giles replied.

"I'm so sorry we treated you like we did, Buffy," Willow said suddenly and then slouched back into her chair, a bit embarrassed by her outburst. She'd already said it once before over the phone, but she couldn't help but say it again, to Buffy's face. Oz reached out a comforting hand and Willow took it eagerly.

Buffy smiled reassuringly. "It's okay. Totally in the past. How about we start over and I tell you the whole story--the truth--from the beginning?"

"Uh, not the *whole* story, Pet..." Spike interjected with the slightest hint of a smirk on his lips. Angel cuffed his childe, sending his head into the railing of the stairs as a bonus effect. Rubbing his head, Spike growled and glared at his sire, but knew better than to do anything else.

"Everything they need to know," Buffy corrected. "Spike and I ran into each other in L.A. and as you know, he brought me back here. We found Angel at the mansion and that's where the weirdness started. We were put under a spell that, well, it attracted us to each other. We found out the next morning what happened and why, but I especially didn't take the news well."

Buffy continued to relay the details of the story to her friends, looking occasionally to her lovers for their emotional support. Her friends listened avidly to her, only interrupting occasionally to ask questions. The explanation grew easier for her with each passing minute as her friends didn't turn away and shun her for her situation. She began the night on edge, fearing the worst could happen at any moment, but by the time she had finished recapping most of the story, she felt a renewed sense of security.

"And that brings us to now, with the latest news."

"There's more?" Giles wondered, not expecting any changes in the situation. Intrigued, he removed his glasses to clean them with a handkerchief then placed them on his head again.

Buffy nodded. "It seems that our bond is so unique that we have to keep it renewed, in blood."

"Ewww," Cordelia chimed in, not caring for the details of that revelation.

Before any questions could be asked, Buffy finished her explanation quickly. "They have to drink my blood and I have to drink theirs occasionally. Otherwise, I'll die."

Off the worried looks of her friends, Buffy realized she left out a crucial part of her explanation. "But I'm not a vampire or anything like one and I'm not going to become one," she added.

"That's an interesting development," Giles observed. Intrigued, he moved to his office for a few select readings the bond reminded him of.

Xander scooted his chair back just an inch, but the legs scraped across the floor, drawing everyone's attention. "Well, can't we do something about it? Research, find out how--"

Buffy smiled at Xander and interrupted him. "Xander, it can't be stopped. It's like me being the Slayer, we don't have any choice in the matter. But, I'm okay. All I need from you is to be my friend and support me."

"You know I will," Xander conceded, though he wasn't ready to drop the subject completely.

"We have no idea what's next for us," Buffy continued. "We're supposed to be players in some huge world-saving event, but we're clueless to the when, where and how. All we do know is that we really love each other more than anything and we need each other to continue living. But I need you guys too."

Willow rose from her chair and moved towards Buffy. "I think I speak for everyone when I say you've got us. It may take us some time to adjust, but we're here for you."

The girls hugged again and Buffy smiled at her lovers over Willow's shoulder.

Eventually, Willow pulled back with wide eyes, an idea in mind. "How about a trip to the Bronze? I think we could all use a little winding down."

"Sounds wonderful," Buffy answered.

The rest of the group nodded their agreements to the suggestion, although Spike and Angel just shrugged noncommittally. They didn't particularly care where they went as long as Buffy was there.

"I think I'd best stay here and do some research," Giles began, his nose already buried in a book.

Buffy smiled at him. "Don't wear yourself out, Giles. We've got fortune telling demons predicting our every move. There's not a lot they don't know."

Giles laughed lightly. "Yes, well, you know me and my books."

"Yeah, yeah. Okay guys, to the Bronze!"

"Your drink, milady," Angel said with an exaggerated tone as he placed Buffy's drink on the table before her and handed Spike a beer.

Buffy quickly thanked Angel then returned her attention to the conversation she was having with Willow. They laughed and talked like the best friends they were as they caught up on the non-supernatural events of each other's lives. Buffy's life had been primarily consumed by the supernatural, but she eagerly listened as Willow updated her on everything Buffy had missed in the past couple of months. Xander buried his face behind his soda when Willow began to retell an embarrassing story about one of Xander's less-than-spectacular attempts to slay a vampire on patrol. Spike forced himself to hold back his smile; he didn't want to do anything to screw this night up for Buffy, even if it meant not picking on the boy.

"Will, do you have to tell that story again... to other people?"

"Yes," Willow confirmed with an evil smile.

"Cordy, let's dance," Xander said before he had to suffer through another second of Willow's torment. He didn't give Cordelia a chance to agree or disagree and pulled her too her feet and towards the dance floor. The rest of the group could hear her protesting for a moment before the loud rock music drowned out her voice.

"Have you talked to your mother yet?"

"Not about...them," Buffy said, looking guilty. "I know I should though."

Willow took a sip from her drink and looked down nervously. "Yeah, Giles kinda mentioned something about it to her."

"He told her?!" Buffy shouted and nearly making Willow spill her drink. Her frightened eyes darted to Angel and Spike, but they both looked at her with stoic looks, not sure how to react.

"No! No, he didn't tell her. He...just hinted that something was going on."

Buffy sighed, loudly. "Great. Well, if you guys can forgive me, hopefully she can too."

Xander and Cordelia returned to the table and Buffy gave Xander a comforting smile, confirming that they were done telling humiliating stories about him.

"Are you two almost done with the girl talk?" Spike asked quietly against Buffy's ear.

Curiously, Buffy turned to him. "Why? Can't I talk with my friend?"

"Course you can. I just had this uncontrollable urge to dance with you."

Stunned by the sweetness of his voiced desires, Buffy excused herself from the table and followed Spike almost blindly to the dance floor.

Willow and the others watched on and for the first time in weeks, they realized that Buffy was okay. And she was happy.

A slow song began on the speakers as Spike pulled Buffy's back against his chest and enfolded her perfectly into his arms like that's where she always belonged. He gazed across the dance floor to where Angel stood against a pillar, eager to watch his lovers and their sure-to-be-erotic display.

Buffy's eyes drifted shut and she let Spike and the music guide her movements. He leaned down and placed a gentle kiss to her temple then nuzzled her hair away from her ear.

"You were bloody amazing tonight, pet," Spike whispered.

A small smile came over her and she wiggled back against him. "Thanks. I'm glad you both came with me."

"We'll always be with you."

Comforted by that, Buffy turned her head and leaned up to kiss him. Aware that they were being watched, Buffy kept the kiss was soft and gentle, but she silently promised there would be more when they returned home.

As Spike's hand drifted up under Buffy's top, she knew he got the message, he just didn't agree with her time table.

"Stop that," she gasped, reluctantly pulling Spike's hand away from her.

"No one's looking," Spike assured her, not bothering to look up and see.

"*Everyone's* looking, Spike. Especially Angel."

The two paused to look up at the dark vampire as he glared at them both. He wanted to be out on the dance floor with them, but knew the display might be a bit much so soon after Buffy renewed her friendships.

"So?" Spike questioned, keeping his eyes glued to Angel's as he ground his erection into Buffy's ass and grinned at his jealous lover.

With a gasp, Buffy reached back to grab Spike's hips. "We're here with my friends," she reminded him. She wouldn't let on that the reminder was also for herself and her seemingly uncontrollable lust.

"Spoil my fun."

Turning around in his arms, Buffy leaned up and placed a gentle kiss on Spike's lips. "At home tonight, I promise. I'm feeling much more...rejuvenated."

With an almost painful groan, "I *will* take you up on that. Count on it."

"It's been a long time since I've seen her this happy."

Angel turned around, startled by the voice. Willow smiled sheepishly at him, and then looked once more to Buffy and Spike as they danced and kissed on the dance floor.

"She is," Angel confirmed. "Especially after tonight."

"I know we said it to Buffy, but I'm sorry for how we acted. You probably won't hear that from Xander and the others, but I am sorry."

"It's not necessary, Willow. Buffy's your friend, not us. You have no reason to apologize to me, or even to trust me. I just hope you'll trust Buffy."

"I don't," Willow said honestly. "Trust you that is. Or Spike. But I trust Buffy and in a way, I'm glad she found happiness with both of you."

"Thanks." An awkward silence developed and Angel looked around, not sure what else he could say.

Willow's face grew serious and she caught Angel's wandering eyes. "You do know what'll happen if you ever hurt her though, right?"

Angel laughed. "I wouldn't expect anything less than the worst the Scooby Gang can dish out," he said with pure honesty.

"Good. Now that that's taken care of, I think we're all getting ready to head home. It's been a long night."

"Yeah, let me just..." Angel trailed off, indicating the couple practically making love on the dance floor.

Angel dragged Buffy and Spike back to the table and the group paid the tab and said their goodbyes for the night. Buffy set plans with Willow and Xander for the following afternoon to have the lunch they should have had a few weeks ago and they all agreed to meet at the library that night before it was time for patrol. With a few more hugs, they all headed to their respective homes.

The three of them had kept their hormones in check until the car was pulled into the driveway, and then none of them could take it anymore. Buffy followed Angel out of the driver's side door and leapt up into his arms as soon as he was standing. Spike made sure the car doors were shut, then dug his hand into Angel's pant pocket for the house keys.

Angel growled a warning when Spike's hand "accidentally" brushed against his erection through the pocket.

"What? Not my fault you put the keys there," he offered innocently. Angel let Buffy's legs hold her to his body and spared a second to grab Spike's neck and shove him roughly towards the house.

If they were lucky, none of the neighbors were watching.

Spike hastily unlocked the front door as Angel blindly carried Buffy into the house and up the stairs. The weight of the world had been lifted off them, even if it was just temporary, and Angel intended to savor every second of it.

She landed with a bounce and a giggle then held her arms out for her lovers to join her.

Instead, they each grabbed a foot and began to remove her shoes. While they continued to undress her lower half, Buffy wiggled around and removed her shirt and bra. Once she was fully naked and writhing in anticipation on the bed, they both began to undress.

Buffy leaned up on one arm to watch and almost unconsciously, her other hand moved between her legs to finger her clitoris. She rarely had a need for self-stimulation--her lovers always made sure she was more than taken care of--but she couldn't help herself this time. She also adored the way their eyes blazed with desire when she touched herself.

"Impatient, are we?" Spike grinned, his eyes torn between her face and what her hand was doing.

"Told you, got my energy all back."

Spike swallowed when she slowly dipped one finger into her slick pussy. "Not that I don't love watching you, but you want some help with that?"

"By all means," Buffy replied, spreading her arms and legs in invitation. "I was just getting warmed up."

Spike knelt up on the bed between her legs then fell forward onto his hands so that he was looming over her. His mouth claimed hers in a tender kiss as he brought one hand between her legs.

"God, you're wet," Spike proclaimed against her lips.

"Since the dance floor," Buffy responded, equally engrossed in their kiss.

The bed shifted around them and Buffy tore her lips away long enough to see Angel lounging against the headboard, watching them both and stroking his cock.

An idea came to mind and she wiggled out from under Spike.

"Where do you think you're going?" He asked with a pout, though he didn't try to stop her from leaving.

Without answering him, Buffy just nudged Angel's thighs apart and settled herself on her hands and knees before bowing down and licking a drop of pre-cum from the tip of Angel's length. Then, with a shake of her ass, she looked over her shoulder and smiled at Spike.

"Come and get it, lover."

Spike pounced on her and drove his cock in, hoping to whatever was listening that she really had regained all of her strength. The last thing he wanted to do was hurt her, but after her sultry little invitation, slow and tender sex was no longer on the agenda.

Buffy moaned and took a moment to adjust to Spike's pace and nearly brutal thrusts. She'd definitely have bruises in the morning, but she didn't care. She needed this. Needed to be reminded of the intensity of their relationship and of the way she could drive her lovers to nearly primal levels.

Carefully, Buffy braced herself on Angel's thighs and took his cock into her mouth. His hand fell away from the base of it and wove soothingly into her hair. She concentrated on sucking on the head, laving it with her tongue and scraping her teeth along the underside like she knew he always enjoyed. She didn't need to bob her head as Spike's thrusts pushed her forward and she used her hands against Angel's thighs to push back every time.

Before she could anticipate it, Spike was roaring her name and flooding her insides with his cum. He pulled out of her and sank back on his heels, making her moan around Angel and pressed her thighs together for friction.

"Shit," Spike growled to himself.

"Come up here," Angel said as he tugged Buffy's head up and pulled her onto his lap. Without any further prompting, Buffy positioned herself and dropped down onto Angel's cock. She moved on him slowly, drawing out the pleasure that had already been built in each of them. One of his arms held her about the waist while the other tended to her nipples. He was enjoying the sight of her wanton display as she rode him so sensuously too much to do much else.

She was a goddess.

Arching back and shifting her pelvis as she rose and fell on Angel's lap, Buffy made sure her clitoris rubbed against Angel's public bone, keeping her hands free to run over the hard muscles of Angel's chest and shoulders. Ever since her recent brush with death, every time between them felt like the first time and she wanted to appreciate everything, even though they knew each other's bodies and desires so well their love making was like that of lovers that had been together forever.

They didn't have forever, but every second they had together would be worth it.

Approaching his orgasm, Angel threw his hips up off the bed and met one of Buffy's downswings and she yelped in surprise. Her hands tightened on his shoulders for balance and she began to move almost furiously on top of him.

"Oh god, Angel, yes!"

Both of Angel's hands relocated to her hips and he helped to guide her until they were both yelling out their nearly simultaneous pleasure. With one final thrust to meet Angel's, Buffy's arms gave out and she fell onto his chest with a shuddering breath.

Angel wanted to hold her, but he couldn't get the message to reach his arms that laid lifelessly on the bed. It was the perfect opportunity for Spike to move in, and he carefully pulled Buffy off his sire and laid her down with her head on one of the free pillows.

Moving behind her, Spike gathered Buffy's weak form in his arms and cradled her against his chest. "I don't know how you always do it, pet. Make me lose control like that."

"I have many talents," Buffy confessed, but feeling satisfied by the thought that she had that much control over him.

"I always thought it was because he lacked stamina," Angel mused.

Taking offense to the insult, Spike leaned up to hit his sire, but his hand stopped mid-air at the dangerous look Angel gave him.

"Boys, let me rest for a minute. Then we can see which of you has the greater stamina."

Spike gasped in mock shock. "You'd pick between us?!"

"If I can still process a thought after you're both done doing what I have in mind, yes."
