1/6th Masterpieces is a richly varied showcase of photographs from the 1/6th collections of some of the world’s foremost enthusiasts. For the first time, the customised and scratchbuilt works of Tony Barton, John Richer - Boot25, Lee Dobson - Ali6874, Liu Chi-Chun - Skwerl, Luca Montenovesi - vettius64, Francesco Amodeo - darkner_imperator, Nick Taylor - misterscruff, Ron Escudero - USMCRon and Ransome Chua are brought together and presented in this fascinating album.

The 1/6th scale figures - many scratchbuilt or customised specially for this book - range from a musketeer of the early 17th century to soldiers of the Napoleonic, Zulu and Crimean War, WW1, WW2, Vietnam and Falklands War.

Beautifully illustrated in full colour, this book with a foreword by Tony Barton, is a valuable reference for anyone interested in the art of the 1/6th scale military figure.

This is my first cavalry saddle tack project - in an attempt to scratchbuild the British Universal Pattern 1912 saddle, I learnt alot about the KISS concept - "Keep It Simple, Stupid." What a great New Year 2005 resolution to uphold!

The French Foreign Legion - a 2004 1/6 scale tribute featuring representations of Legionnaires from Camerone, Morocco, Tunisia, Dien Bien Phu and Algeria

This is a personal dedication to the "Greatest Generation," it is a compilation of my digital photographic compositions inspired by the actual accounts of men, caught in the morass of war. I hope to cover the other Allied forces too.
