The three (four?) continents are socially and geographically isolated by the vast distances of open seas. Each continent is unique in it's social, political, and geographical structure. At this time there is no trade or interaction between hemispheres. The exception is the Mage Wars between rival factions and clans of wizards that transends natural made boundries.
Aralon is an island continent that has many countries on it. Two thousand years ago the continent was settled by explorers from Bulkevert. The timeline gives and overview of the major events in the history of Aralon.
