Serena's Diary

June 30, 1000

     Dear Diary,

            Today the festivities began for my 14th birthday.  Too bad my love Darrien could not come.  I have stayed in my chamber all night for I have been weeping .  Even though the festivities will last for a week, Darrien will not be able to come.  My mother said that I would be taking the throne in two weeks!  I do not think I can handle all of those responsibilities.  Luna said that I would be a wonderful Queen, but we will see.   I must rest my eyes now for the candlelight is getting dim.

July 1, 1000

    Dear Diary,

            Today I got a wonderful suprise!  Darrien came to the palace, but his face looked solemn.  What is wrong my love? I asked him. He said that an evil force called the Negaverse was trying to take over the Universe.  I asked him why he could not stay with me forever, he answered in a low tone: "I need to defend this Kingdom with the other soiders, Prince Greg, Prince Chadwick, Prince Ken, and Prince Anthony.  The other princesses' lovers I thought.  They probably feel as bad as I do.

July 2, 1000

    Dear Diary,

            Today I met the other girls in the ballroom.  We were terribly bored.  I spotted Darrien.   Darrien!  I shouted.  He said he wanted to have one last dance with me. I smiled and we danced with grace.  After the dance, we went to a balcony.  He told me to never forget him if he...if he...if he, lost his life in the battle. I said that he would always be in my heart, for all eternity.

July 3, 1000

    Dear Diary,

            I saw Princess Mars today.  Her love had left too.  She said that she had fallen in love with another man named Jedite.  She didn't tell me much, but she said that he made her feel as special as when Chadwick was here.  I also walked by Princess Jupiter too.   She said that her love, Ken, was gone for battle too and had fallen in love with another man named Nephlite.  As I was making my way to the dinner banquet, I bumped into Princess Mercury and Princess Venus.  They said that their lovers, Greg and Anthony, had gone to the battle with the others.  They were dancing with Zoysite and Malachite.  We had a big feast.  There, my mother said that the Negaverse is taking over the Earth already. 

July 4, 1000

    Dear Diary,

            This afternoon, Darrien came to the our kingdom, wounded.  He said that the Negaverse was planning to take over the Moon Kingdom today.  I am writing entry with my mind for he was right.   Just during the fireworks tonight, the Negaverse came.  I guess my mother used the Silver Crystal to take us somewhere...but I am losing my memory............
