About Rawiya Storyteller

I always thought it was a bit egotistical to have a webpage about oneself on one's website, but now that I've created one of my own, I feel a need to tell my visitors about myself. To me, having you visit my website is kind of like visiting me in my home. And have you ever gone to visit someone out of the blue for no reason without actually knowing that person beforehand? So I decided to write a bit about myself.

I'm 22, I'm married and live in Nova Scotia, Canada. My husband and I have no children as of yet, but we are hopeful that one day we can have a family and a home of our own. Currently we live in an apartment. I work as a floor supervisor at a department store in our town, while he goes to university. He's majoring in Chemistry, hoping to be a Chemistry teacher someday. He's a very intelligent, wonderful man.

We have a kitten, though, who is spoiled enough into thinking he's a people! His name is Tempest and he's our little angel. Here's his picture.

Isn't he a handsome devil? He's very mischevious and self-centered, but I love him anyway. He's truely my best friend -- he always knows when I need someone to cuddle me or make me feel special.

I am a Wiccan -- I've been following the path for a number of years now. My husband introduced me to Wicca and Paganism when we were sixteen and I've been following the Craft ever since. I feel very strengthened and at peace with it and love my faith dearly. It's become a daily part of my life.

I've met some wonderful friends through my chosen path -- Shayleah Greenwitch is a very special friend who showed me the path of the Kitchen Witch and together, we've developed several groups in the Yahoo! community. My friend Fionna is an Irish witch with fantastic ambition and a very creative mind. And while they don't have websites, Nakota and Kerry have contributed quite a bit to this site from their emails and the sharing of fantastic information -- where they get it, I will never know! This is just to name a few!

So that's about it. I'm always busy with something new -- I rarely ever stop to breathe! I love to design new craft ideas, write stories and prayers (hence the name "Rawiya Storyteller") and hang out around the house with my husband and spoiled little Tempest. One day, when my husband is finished school, we hope to move to a rural countryside area and buy a house. Then I can stay home and craft and clean and cook and generally be content with my life.

If anyone would ever like to email me, please do so at rawiya_storyteller@yahoo.ca. I'd love to hear from you. Just a reminder though -- if you email me something trying to convert me or something derrogatory, it's a waste of time. I'll delete it and never give it a second thought. So please don't waste that precious time -- mine or yours. It's a few minutes we could be living life, which is short (even if we get to go around a couple of times!).

Bright Blessings!
