Sunday 2nd September: I Hope that everyone has had a great summer. Although last season was disapointing in many ways,, it did end on a high note. Our victory against Jizzmen and Castle Leazes in friendlies at the end of the season made sure that we could end the season with our heads held high.
This new season holds a lot of promise for the club. The club will be in division 2 on a Saturday for the 3rd consecutive season, a record only matched by Garnett B, while also debuting in the Wednesday league for the first time. Lets hope we can improve on last season's finnish of 5th and finally clinch promotion.
I will be in touch with existing players about our frist training sessions in the coming weeks. Trials for new players should be held in Freshers' week while our first match is provisionally pencilled in for the following week against Castle Leazes.
