After the last year the gang has reunited for the summer break and are looking to have the party of the century at an innocent looking beach house.

- Review -

This movie is very entertaining and funny, some good gags and jokes have been thrown in and work very well. I enjoyed this movie the first time I saw it, even though a lot was given away buy those teaser trailers, but, the second time it wasn't so good. Overall it is a good move. The performances are good the best in my view being from Seann William Scott and Eugene Levy. Jason Biggs is also very good but he was better in the first pie.

- DVD Features and Technical Details -

This DVD packs a good lot of extras that include an audio commentary by the cast, director and writer which, I haven’t listened too yet, Making of that is OK, deleted scenes and outtakes, Jason Biggs trailer intro, screen tests for AP 1, behind the scenes with the cast, top 10 scenes from AP 1 and AP 2, music video, trailers for American Pie 2 and The Bourne Identity and finally some production/filmmaker notes.

Languages included are only English 5.1 and DTS. Subtitles include French and English. The movie is presented in 1.85:1 anamorphic widescreen. The picture quality of this DVD is very good, no sign of grain or dark spots. The sound is also good though I only have Dolby pro Logic receiver.

Overall I would give the movie 3*** and the DVD 3***
