If you are new to Alias then I suggest you take a look at the episode
summaries which will give you some insight into the world of Alias and what
happens in each show. Alias, now into its second series [U.S], has been
a huge sucess and has been nominated for several awards. Jennifer Garner
who plays Agent Sydney Bristow also one a golden globe for her role.
The show follows grad student Sydney Bristow as she leads two lives, one
as a secret agent for the CIA and the other as normal everyday women
who works at the bank. But everything changes when her fiancee, who
proposes to her, is killed by SD-6 when Sydney tells him who she really
is. Sydney then finds out that SD-6 is not really run by the CIA and
seeks revenge on them and their boss Sloane. Sydney then goes to the real
CIA and becomes a double-agent giving important information about SD-6
to them.
