Lauren's Special Day with
Deidre Hall Hey everyone My name is Lauren Williams. On July 2, 2000 I had the amazing opportunity to meet Deidre Hall. Let me just say she is so amazing and so beautiful in person. My mom and I flew into VAB July 1st and met Laurie, jess, sharon, lexi, tina and susan for dinner. it was great meeting everyone for the first time after talking online to them for so long. I love all you guys!!
Then the next morning we were up bright and early to meet Deidre. We got there and bought our pictures I couldn't eat the breakfast I was so nervous! Then they showed some montages. We also talked to Andrea and had our picture taken with her. Andrea and Deidre look and act so much alike, Andrea is so freaking funny! Then Dee came out and walked around and talked for like 1.5hrs. She is so sweet and fun! We watched some more monatges then they had a raffel of some of Dee's clothes (this was not the auction it was a raffel and they gave you a raffel ticket at the beginning of the event) Well the second number called was mine!!! I won a yellow Ann Klein blazer jacket. I was so amazed that I actually won!
I walked up and dee handed it to me I was like Ahh thank you so much!! I was so excited. Then we all got in line for autographs when it was finally my turn the first thing dee said to me was your so beautiful I was like oh my god I love you, plus I was like crying and shaking I was so nervous. She hugged me like 5 times and I told her I loved her and she was such a great role model and i wanted to be an actress and that I was involved in musical theatre at my school. She is so nice and compassionate she made me feel so at home. I had her sign my pics and my marbie and the script that I won which the also raffeled of. Lots of people won scrpits that were atcually hers she had marked in them and stuff it was so amazing! I love Deidre so much so is so amazing and I am deffinatly going next year. After I got my pic and autographs I was standing around and Andrea came up to me and in a joking way she searched the jacket pockets b/c she said sometimes dee leaves money in them and forgets about it, It was so funny and I was just standing there amazed. I had Deidre sign the blazer and it fits me perfect, though i doubt I will ever wear it out it is such a cool thing to have, dee is so thin she has no waist! But she is so beautiful! I had an awesome trip and I loved meteing everyone.
That was my amazing day, it was probably the best day of my life, even though I am only 17 (well almost) I don't think anything could top it! :-)
