Hi! I am Laura Austin, and I am from Minnesota. I don't know who will be
reading this, or who will get my e-mail, but I want you to know that I pray
for you all every night. I am only 14 years old, but what happened last year
at Columbine will forever affect me and I will always remember it. I wasn't
there, so I can't say that I know how you feel, but my heart goes out to you.
I can't even imagine the pain, and horror that, not only the kids who were
there and saw it all, but also the parents of everyone, felt, and may still
feel. I know that I feel horror every time I think about it, and I spent,
and every once in a while, I still do cry about it. I think what must it
have been like to be in that school, and to see the awful destruction 2 of
your peers could cause. And that is enough to bring anyone to tears. But,
through of all that, I admire your strength, and the fact that you are able
to pick up, move on, and continue to make your way through it all. That is
all you can do! I want you to know, that my prayers, my heart, and my
strength go out to everyone of you, and I want to wish you a Merry
Christmas!! And to all of you who lost someone you really love, remember,
you haven't really lost them, they are still with you every single day, every
minute, every second, watching over you, and loving you!! Merry Christmas
and Happy New Year!
All of my Love,
Laura Austin
