Welcome to Model Railroad Layouts.

I created this site for a college class and as a tribute to my boyfriend's hobby. I never thought I would learn and know so much about trains until I met him. Now I am going to train shows and Railroad Days in Durand, MI and even planning a trip to Cross Roads Village this summer for the Railfans Days in August.

Below you will find train cars that will link you to some pictures of model train layouts taken in Durand, MI and some taken at a train show that my boyfriend and his club held in Anchorage during Fur Rondy in February.

I have also included a few shots of full size trains that were taken in Alaska and in Michigan. So feel free to view the pictures I have acquired and check out the links to some of the other web sites including the club my boyfriend is in.
