KENDAL

My place of birth and where my parents, family and many of my friends still live!
It's good to go home once in a while, catch up with everyone, Christmas is usually the best time for that!  Drinks are much cheaper too.  The Brewery is a good place to start drinking.  Usually go out with Annette (friend from QKS) and Stewart (her young man who have just moved into a real house together!) and his friends.  We have a laugh, and more often than not end up in Passion!
Shannon moved to Guilford a couple of yrs ago so we meet up in London from time to time and have a few too many!  Last week we wanted to go on an open top bus but pubs kept hindering our mission!
For people who have never visited Kendal, its a small town where everyone tends to have a connection to everyone else!!  My friend Rebecca, who works at St Thomas's school, lives in a flat on Heron Hill, turns out Darren (Stewart and Shannon's friend) has moved in below her!

MANCHESTER
I've just been up in Manchester for a long weekend. I stayed with Vicky, a friend from Kendal who grew up on Fern Hill round the corner from my house. Vicky's just moved into her new home in Stretford with husband Carl, hopefully there'll be a house warming soon!  I really do miss the area and want to move back asap!
So, Nicola, Julie, Lara, Muatez etc... watch this space and we may actually make a date for a reunion!!

University days
The reunion happened, with Nicola and Julie. We had a very nostalgic night in Bolton, when we eventually made it out of the house! -Rob was worried he may miss Match of the Day.
We ended up in what was Ritzys, now Ikon.  Had a good boogie in Jumpin' Jacks, shame mags wasn't there, here's to the 22nd July!

See my old work mates here...drinking at the expense of the company! *wink*
