| Quail trail, Washington and several othe roads in town have recieved major damage Thank God Alex Taft wasted HURF funds which are meant to repair roads on planting free trees and "beautifying" a known flood plain and some signage that has cost us hundreds of thousands of dollars...not to mention a path across the same area thats known to wash out..... irrigation lines to the trees that should have never been put there in the first place And now the trees are dying... the water lines we paid run and to keep the trees Taft lied to get have to be replaced... The best part is even more water lines were broken as was a sewer main... which thankfully... the councils incompetent intrim Town manager couldn't manage to hook people up too.... water and sewer not being a priority..... ALL the council EXCEPT myself went along with Tafts plan because they're idiots.. and now they are responsible for the lack of road repair... they allowed an unqualified and proven incompetent (Taft) to tell them how to vote and she decided what was more important.... Mandated services or her personal desire to waste money on what "the voices say" rather than what the law requires.... which is hysterical since our idiot mayor prays for divine guidence hoping for voices but is to stupid follow answers that come with written instruction.. Like thou shalt not bear false witness etc.... But thats another issue.... Theres also new attacks on business which are also approved by the brilliant council and mayor... Taft and the Chief of Police refused to issue Bruce Cox of 10,000 videos a business license.. Bruce Cox is the reason the libray has the video collection it does... he donated hundreds of videos........ Bruce was also a member of the business chamber.. They (Taft and the chief of police) made the decision for their own anti-vendor Palm Springs agenda.. not the good of the Town... But like any other vendor.....hes just not Palm Springs material...But according to the council, neither are most of the people who live in Quartzsite.. If you don't own property you don't count.. Unless your a convicted sex offender whos related to a member of the council. Still if you do own property but are not on the right side or complain about obvious stupitity and misconduct..... expect to be harrased till you sell by the chief of police/assistant intrim town manager/head of code enforcement....... Enjoy paying for Quail Trail if we can even get the money to get it done..... I'm thinking Taft or one of the idiots are going to be pimpin for the creation of a special tax district soon so Taft and her cronies can bleed the town dry that much quicker...... I'd say its probably Lizzarga..hes stupid enough and has a uniform...he can even use a fire truck if he wants to....Not that he can drive it down Quail Trail..... Expect more wonders like Quail Trail from this council and Taft... I heard people laughing when I was the only one who voted no...Not that I give a damn.... I plan on laughing when Taft gets her tax district and forces the churches to pay for hook ups.. I'm already laughing over Quail Trail and the trees....... Theres a lot Im going to be laughing about...Taft and the realestate council with their greed and stupidity..are going to finish running off vendors, and its the vendors that made property valuable.... Quartzsite is becoming Blyte east...not Palm Springs pray to all the crystals and turkey feathers you want to ..hang a dozen rainbow flags in your closet.. Quartzsite is not Palm Springs...business ifsdropping off. vendor inquirys are down and the state is talking about cutting our revenue another 30% on top of the last one. And the council refuses to cut back........... when your out of water..cant drive the roads and septic leaches into the ground water...or some pervert kills a kid on their way to school or a meth addict breaks into your house because the chief of police is to busy pretending hes in charge of code enforcement, deciding who gets a business license... or some other shit he wasn't hired to do ....Tell it to the neglegent lazy morons on the council.. see how far you get......
