The above chart is your Quilt Size Guide for this quilt.
The numbers are the number of rows you will need to get the size of quilt indicated by the dimension lines.
Use the Standard quilt chart to find the size quilt you want, find the number of rows you need to make for that size quilt.
** Because of the nature of the *rows* of this quilt, you will only get a close size.

Well, this will look a little complicated at first but it is really easy to use to determine how many sections you will need down on your strip to get the length you want.

The first mistake I made when I first did this quilt was to put an even number of rows down and then when I went to put on my border, I didn't have an odd number of rows.  Consequently, my repeats on the side borders didn't come out right, I ended up with pink, pink instead of pink, white. I ended up going through and ripping off the last row across the whole quilt.  So be forewarned!

I'll explain this a little further when we get to the built in borders.

You need a certain amount of diamonds lengthwise to form the border.

Look at this diagram on the left.  Compare it to the one on the right and find #27  Wherever you choose to end your lengthwise rows has to be at a PINK dotted diamond. Draw a line across the diamonds and it has to go through the pink dotted diamond.
