Male Gynecologists??

OK so what is this? Male gynecologists? What an absurd idea! I heard this little quote on the radio the other day "A male gynecologist is like an auto mechanic that's never owned a car!" Quite frankly I agree with this statement. First we shall look into the question WHY?? Why would a guy go through 12 or so years of medical school to be a doctor for women's health? This kind of disturbes me... why is just so simple a question but so intriguing! Secondly we shall look into the make-up of being a gynecologist. OK first in my opinion if you are to be a gynecologists you need an education (which is required by law of course) secondly you'll need a mix of experiance. Am I wrong in thinking that I should be taken care of by some one with breasts and bleeds from the croch once a month while enduring terrible cramps and wild mood swings? I mean men don't do that... if they did, well lets say a man could never endure menstral cycles, pregnancy and live birth! I want a women that has experianced all of these, knows what I am going through and can be sympathetic. Men on the other hand have NOTHING to complain about! They feel nothing! And how can they make a proper diagnoses by mere word-of-mouth and no experiance? I saw a news report the other night that HIGHLY disturbed me. Apparrantly there had been a male gynecologist that had removed the overies of many of his patients claiming that they had one problem or another but most of the pathology reports there was nothing wrong! Now I am no surgeon but wouldn't you think when you cut open that poor woman and had a peek that you could see the problem if it was so huge you had to take their ovaries out? What was this man thinking when he continued on and took away from the women- with no reason their internal organs and womanhood?! That seriously pisses me off!!! My thery is this man probably hates women, you know one of those psycho-paths you think is so normal and nice until they do something upmostly rotten?? I could go on and on.. I really don't think men should even be allowed to become a gynecologists. Being a woman is a sacred thing, and a man will never know what it's like unless of course he had a bit of surgeory or was reborn or something... but that's another topic for another day... OK so this all being said I think that male gynecologists, if we can't stop them from being a practicing women's doctor then we should at least screen them very carefully for signs of mental distress, hatred of women etc. Then you should really keep an eye on them particlary when they are doing something so sensative as surgically removing a women's organs.. I mean I think there should be maybe 0-1 mistakes in these guy's careers. Any more than that they should be banned from practice, particulary when more than half their patiens have a normal pathology afterwards! It makes me sick... Do you have an opinion on this subject?
