Highlight to read reasons for answers (they're in white so you can't cheat):

(1) Peg Leg Pete appeared, unnamed in the original Alice in Cartoonland cartoons. This was the first series produced by Disney, followed by Oswald the Lucky Rabbit, then Mickey Mouse. FYI: Dippy Dog was Goofy's original name.

(2)Toy Story was the 1st computer animated feature film. Tron was the first to contain computer animation, Jonah: a VeggieTales Movie is computer animated and was the 1st for Big Idea Production, Antz was the 1st computer animated film for Dreamworks SKG who later made Shreck the 1st film to win the Best Animated Picture Oscar.

(3)Darkwing Duck (sequel to Disney's DuckTales)was aired in syndacyte (in So California KCAL 9) and network, ABC Saturday Mornings. Different new episodes aired on each.

(4)Who Censored Roger Rabbit by Gary K. Wolf came before the movie and only has the characters in common. Who Framed is the name of the movie, and Who P-P-P-Plugged is the 2nd book which is a squell to the movie, not the 1st book.

(5)Plane Crazy was the 1st cartoon Mickey made - Steamboat was actually the 3rd but it was released first. The 1st Mickey cartoon in color was The Band Concert. Steamboat was not the 1st cartoon with sound. Max Fletcher came up with sound in cartoons but they were sing-alongs (follow the bouncing ball...) and only displayed pictures not timed with the sound. Steamboat Willie was synchonized and actually had characters talking (squeeking, grunting) and whistling in time to the sound. Big deal back then!

(6)In the Scarlet Pumpernickle Daffy gives his middle name on the script for this cartoon.

(7)I don't know why... but it's true. Check in the Disney Encyclopedia of Animated Characters if you don't believe me.

(8)In one of the Popeye shorts (I'm brain freezing right now, I'll update this with the name - it's on one of the 6 hrs. of cartoons video either vol. 1 or 2) it gives the names of his nephews. Papeye, Pepeye, Pipeye, Pupeye are the nephews of Popeye (trick to remember: remember your vowels, a e i o u)

(9)Though he didn't have a show for a while, Felix is the right answer. When the inventors of the TV tested the signal, they focused the camera on a Felix doll and he made history. Crusader Rabbit was the 1st cartoon show, Mickey ruled the ratings with the Mickey Mouse Club (though not all animated) and Bugs was on the Bugs Bunny Show which was one of the longest running cartoon series of all time.

(10)The Flintstones came first in prime time baised (and almost sued) on the Honeymooners. I think the Simpsons have the record for most episodes, but don't quote me on that. Thanks for taking my quiz, more questions to come when I think of them!
