I'm undertaking a lot of work..... the major part will be totally gutting the galley style kitchen, removing an interior wall to expand the space, installing a new tile floor, cabinets, window, skylight, lighting and appliances. The other major task is to build a new 3/4 bath off of the kitchen....
...and re-do the existing 2nd floor bath.
Besides replacing all of the windows, the rest of the work will be mostly cosmetic....new drywall where needed, refinishing the harwood floors through out, and paint.
The exterior will get a new paint scheme, as well as some updated landscaping.
All the renovations, including plumbing and electrical work will be completed by my myself....with some help from my 5 year old son!!
The closing is April 14 2006...after a few celabratory cocktails, work will commence on the 15th!!
