Combining the elements of emo,punk and hardcore, 
Near Fatal Explosion aims to fuse underground genres to
make an explosive sound. Started out initially as a three 
piece punk band( doesn't all bands start out that way?)
Mirza(Drums), Suhaimi(Bass) and Hafiz2(Guitars) have since 
grown musically as well as expanded in number. Sultan 
was recruited as 2nd guitarist nearing the end of 2002 
and the final piece came just before their auditions for 
some school talent shit. Friend and long time supporter of 
the band, Hafiz1, was asked to replace drummer/vocals, 
Mirza as the new lead vocalist due to Mirza's sudden sore 
throat.Of course they lost but the story doesnt end there.

2 years, 50++ covers and 3 originals later....
Moving from the mellow stuff they played 2 years back, 
they're now playing heavier and louder music that'll make 
your neighbours call the cops. So there we have it, 5 dudes 
with an aim to makeit big in the local music scene. Whatever 
you label their music, be it metalcore, emocore, punkcore
or plain ol' hardcore, NFE's gonna make a big impact.
