Preston Lake Homeowner's Guide

Volunteers from the Pride and Preston Lake community association have developed this free Homeowner's Guide to offer new and existing residents the most up-to-date information available about living in our community. We ask that you read and follow this guide not only for your own health and safety, but also for the benefit of the lake, your property value, your neighbours, and all the wildlife in and around the lake.

Use this guide as a handy reference for your home and environment. It has been created using research conducted by proven authorities and contains a wealth of knowledge. If you move, please pass this guide along to the next homeowner.

The Guide contains contacts and information pertaining to:

  • Boating
  • Fishing
  • Local wildlife
  • Plantings (recommended native trees/shrubs)
  • Resources
  • Septic tanks
  • Water wells
  • and much more

NEW: The guide is now available on-line with illustrations. A copy of the guide can be obtained by clicking here (2.4 MB download). Last modified January 2008.
