Touchstone of Humanity

Usually, I get long chain mails from my pals ranging from repeated stale jokes to hi funda morals. However, a few of them really touched my heart which I wish to share with you. Hope you'll feel the same way.

  • Here is a story of two ailing soldiers in a dull hospital room. It's a bit sentimental stuff but certainly inspire you to do something for others.
  • The best description of a FRIEND , I have ever found. Let me know if you have a better one.
  • A chance meeting on a park bench and a feeling of camaraderie develops between a grandfather and a six-year-old. Talking to each other, they feel comforted by the fact that they have similarities. October 1 was observed as International Day of the Elderly, an occasion for us to see how much there is in common between the young and the old .
  • This is an example of the proverb "A friend in need is a friend indeed" - an effort by a soldier to save his peer at the battlefield.
  • Yet another sonnet dedicated to a lost friend
