Amnesty International is the world's largest human rights organization, and  Maine has over 20 active chapters. The Greater Portland Chapter represents AIUSA in the heart of Maine's largest city for its surrounding communities.
As a part of the global human rights movement, the Greater Portland Chapter welcomes concerned about human rights and social justice. Through campaigns, action networks and events, Amnesty International provides the chance to help those under threat in every country of the world.
