WELCOME TO THE PORTER-GATES FAMILY FOREST-TREE!
In the year 1972 as I was recuperating from Brain Surgery for Epilepsy my Aunt May Porter, a Registered Nurse, suggested to keep myself busy that I start making a page form for each Porter Family for which she had Genealogical Information. When I had completed these forms we started recording information that she and her father had gathered over the years. Little did I know how long a task this was going to be! Nor how addicting!
Thirty years later I am still trying to keep up with this task of recording the ever growing Porter Family line.
Two years ago my wife decided she would like to start gathering information on her own Family, and what we have wound up with is not a Family Tree - but a whole FAMILY FOREST!!
So while wandering through The Porter-Gates Family Forest -Tree - follow the Paths of our two Families and see how they finally merged with Time.
