STUFF
For 1966, Pontiac offered two trim levels for the fullsize wagon: The entry level Catalina, which mine started as, and the top of the line Bonneville. Both wagons could be ordered with any option in the fullsize line, except for fender skirts. All engines were available including the famous 421 HO, which included these factory header-style Long Branch Manifolds
66 Grand Prix front end styling really sets my wagon apart from the rest!
66 Grand Prix buckets seats and console add a sporty feel to the typical spartan station wagon interior. Full instrumentation includes tachometer and oil pressure, water temperature, and engine vacuum gauges. Tilt steering, wood wheel, 4-way hazard flashers and low fuel warning lamp are a few of the rare options which have been added. New door panels were stitched, by me, in Bonneville patterns to match the new upscaled look of the interior.
Capacious third seat area is large enough for three adults, with seat belts for each. Rear compartment lamp works from any open door or by a flip of the switch by a rear passenger. Carpet lined rear load floor and tailgate have stainless steel load strips for ease of loading heavy items. Rear air deflector keeps back window clear of debris and rain.
