We here at Political Revolt want to take this opportunity to thank Rodney MacDonald, the Nova Scotia Progressive CONservative party, the Nova Scotia Liberal Party and the Nova Scotia New Democratic Party for demonstrably proving to every taxpayer in this province that everything we've said here in the past has, once again, come to fruition.

We 've told YOU, time and again, that this is the "system". This is why "your" government is constituted the way it is.
If you're on a pension, when is the last time you got a 21% raise?
These bastards will not fix your roads, people are dying while waiting for heart surgery, your kids can't read or write effectively. POLITICIANS GIVE THEMSELVES RAISES.
How much more will YOU allow THEM to load on your shoulders before you take control by NOT voting, and certainly not supporting ANY political party with your MONEY or your TIME.

YOU do not live in a democracy, fools !

So why should anyone in Nova Scotia be expected to do without the barest of necessities while there are others who have acquired great riches, wealth and power on the backs of those very same people who, over the years, worked hard and diligently paid their taxes?

No wonder, the Regressive CONservatives DIDN'T DESERVE a majority in Nova Scotia.

What isn't said is that the opposition parties ain't THAT popular,either.

That's always great for the people.
It means that this party or that won't be able to secretly steal the people's money and give it to their friends ~ which really is the only object of a majority government.

"THEY" HAVE BEEN DOING A GOOD JOB, SO FAR, OF STEALING FROM YOU

We know for a fact, the current government would like nothing better than to shut this site down in order to stifle the truth. For the frst time, in one spot, you have the opportunity to see the millions of dollars that have been given away to political friends and questionable businesses. Our source: PUBLIC RECORDS that this government normally would make you jump through hoops to see...or, pay a small fortune through the Freedom of Information Act to get a version of this information that has been blacked out with edits. Total up the amounts of money and you will have a good indication as to why your Health Care doesn't measure up and why your kids are not getting the education they need for this 21st Century. You'll see why this greedy government continually jacks up your taxes ...while you have nothing to show for all of it.

The ONLY power any party has is when it has a majority and, consequently, carte blanche over the public purse. This allows it to perpetuate itself by skimming off tax dollars for future elections and rewarding party faithful with over-paid jobs and perks. When a party can't do this, it withers and dies because there is no reason for the "faithful" to support and work for the party if they aren't getting anything out for themselves.

When the party dies, its mythical power over the people dies too. Parties only continue to exist as long as people believe that one party is more capable ( powerful ) than any other.
The truth is parties do not get the power they want as long as the people prevail and don't allow them a majority. And THAT truth is incontrovertible.

PARTIES SOLD OUT TO BIG BUSINESS LONG AGO

Political parties are not of the people anymore. In fact, the wishes of the people don't count when they elect a majority government populated by one party or another.
The Liberals and Progressive Conservatives ( and now, the CONservatives) are very much dependant on (and actively solicit ) funds from BIG BUSINESS to bankroll their election shows.

The consequence is these contributors expect to get something for the money they pour into campaigns. They expect government contracts ( above and below the table ) untendered government purchases, "relaxation of rules " that are not in the public interest and a plethora of "fiddled deals " such as Sponsorship, Heritage and various rip offs that have stolen millions from the Canadian taxpayer in the recent past.

The only way YOU will ever regain power over your own destiny in this province and nation is to stop supporting the liars and thieves that have banded together in these political parties to steal from you.
YOU must stop supporting parties that seem to field a high proportion of candidates from the legal profession. There are others just as sleazy but the legal profession thrives on those who are the best at legally stealing.Consider this statement from a lawyer "friend" that tells it all when he jokingly(?) said ( with a chilling edge of seriousness ) "What do you have that I want?". This same mentality has made its way into what used to be YOUR government.

THE SYSTEM SUCKS ... YOU DRY OF MONEY ~ AND THEY KNOW OF NO OTHER WAY OF DOING BUSINESS.

DON'T FORGET THAT IT 'S THESE SAME PEOPLE WHO MAKE THE RULES BY WHICH THE GAME IS PLAYED !

WHEN ARE YOU GOING TO LEARN NOT TO SUPPORT ANY POLITICAL PARTY WITH YOUR TIME OR YOUR MONEY?

THINGS WILL ONLY IMPROVE WHEN THE PARTIES AND THEIR BACK ROOM BOYS NO LONGER CONTROL YOUR GOVERNMENT.

Definitions from the dictionary: oligarchy ~ A political system governed by a few people.

Political parties are run by a few people. Everyone else is there to pound in signs during an election campaign or to clap, scream and yell like a bunch of programmed robots whenever the "leader" makes any kind of pronouncement. You can watch them perform like a bunch of trained seals on the nightly news. The people at the top of the" pecking order" in a political party are the elite. Elitists. The elitists are those who benefit most from the "party plan" of government and will do anything to see that it survives. ANYTHING !

Political parties have hijacked YOUR government and continually tell the electorate ~ that's you ~ that you have a "democracy". NO ... you have an oligarchy. A democracy would give you a continuing say in what government does and how it spends YOUR money. The oligarchy or "party plan" of government manipulates YOU every four years to vote for this party or that ~ the object being for the party to have a majority that will allow it ( the party/oligarchy ) to have carte blanche to put you in debt with unbridled spending .

THEN ... You can go to hell, because their brand of democratic government doesn't need you for anything ~ except your money ~ which will now be progressively used on a liberal basis for party favors.
