| A LITTLE ABOUT UMM JUNAYD |
| Assalaamu 'alaikum wa rahmatullaahi wa barakaatuh |
| "Who's Umm Junayd?" I hear you cry, here's just a little about me...I say a little because my life story would take years to type! Inshaa`Allaah my story of how I returned back to Allaah will be available soon, so watch this space! I was born into a family who called themselves Muslims but knew very little about the the true teachings of Islaam and did not put Islaam first in their lives. However, Allaah (Most Exalted, Most High), provided me with a route back to His Path and alhamdulillaah I have been practising ever since! UPDATE: I've quit the studying of Law at University and have persued studies in Arabic and Islaamic Studies. Inshaa`Allaah, this will benefit not only myself, but also my children, my family and the Ummah. I know that I may have confused previous visitors by using the kunya 'Umm Junayd' while I was not yet a mother. Alhamdulillaah, Allaah has blessed me with a son and as many would have guessed, he has been named Junayd - so alhamdulillaah I am able to keep my kunya! [Umm = Mother (of), Junayd = Fighter/ Warrior (of Allaah)].
