Abuse, in its many forms, can cause emotional, physical and spiritual scars. Its effects have a life-long effect on how we, as survivors, see ourselves and others.
I too, am a survivor of abuse and I made this site as a way to reach out to others. I know that at times it seems as if there is no hope and no way to heal the terrible pain inside.
But there is a way out of the darkness and there is healing. By taking one small step at a time, it can be done.
