Douglas Eichhorn's poems have appeared in a numerous journals, including The Nation, New Letters, Epoch, Shenandoah, Hearse, New: American and Canadian Poetry, Choice, and Poetry Now, as well as in several anthologies. He received the George Harmon Coxe Award in 1962, and the Acad- emy of American Poets Prize in 1963, both from Cornell University.
