It's been a long, long time since the 1997-98 academic year, when a bunch of us crazy hooligans invaded McArthur Hall with our wild ideas and screwball antics, determined to teach Physics and Chemistry in new ways. I can't speak for the rest of us, but I sure came away from that experience with my head screwed on correctly. But, as time marches surely onward, we grow and change both personally and professionally.
As such, I've been asked (as the person who originally stuck this up on the 'net one late night in the summer of '98) if I could kindly remove incredibly outdated references to a couple of people. Seeing as how it's a pretty monumental task to sift through the hundreds of individual HTML files, clean up all the links, scrub out outdated stuff (and probably act on my compulsion to clean up the code and make it all style-sheets-able), I've decided it was about time to close up the exhibit and pack 'er all away.
The lone exception to this, which I'm going to leave up, is a page written by Teresa about rubrics. It alone has garnered an astonishing 15,246 hits — consistently 200-300 per month — since being put up. I guess these still pose a bit of a mystery to us science teacher folks. (And yes, I'll spiff-up that code, because I'm like that.)
So, in conclusion, here lies POE. Perhaps someday I'll find the time to re-work all the documents to leave out tricky things like email addresses and photos and such, but for now it will only exist in CD form. If you want one, I'm sure you'll know where to obtain one.
