Welcome!...to the electronic home of His Britannic Majesty King George III's 5th Company 1st Battalion of the 84th Regiment of Foot, the ROYAL HIGHLAND EMIGRANTS.
We are a recreated loyal Highland unit of the British Army in the American Colonies during the Rebellion of 1775-1782. It is our mission to recreate the 5th Company as accurately as possible, in appearance and behavior, in order to educate the public about the true nature and history of the British Army in the American Colonies, and to honour all those soldiers of the 84th RoF RHE's who so bravely & loyaly did their duty for King and Country.

"War is an ugly thing, but not the ugliest of things.
The decayed and degraded state of moral and patriotic
feeling of a person who thinks that nothing is worth war
is much uglier. A man who has nothing for which he is willing to fight -
- nothing he cares about more than his own personal safety and well being
-- is a miserable creature who has no chance of being free,
unless made and kept so by the exertions and blood of better men than himself."

~ John Stewart Mill (1806-1873) ~
