Car Crash into Paoli Hospital Lobby
On April 22, 2005 at apprx. 1030 hours a vehicle made entry through the Paoli Hospital main lobby windows.
A 911 and 711 call was made by the hospital's main lobby receptionist who still manned her post through it all.
Chester County Fire Station 3 (Paoli Fire Company and ambulance) and Willistown Police Department responded.
The 711 Internal Emergency call that was made by the main lobby receptionist sprung hospital Engineering,Security , Nursing staff and others into action and to the scene.
The driver was treated and released within hours from the hospital Emergency department.
There was no structural damge and no others were hurt. Damages were cleaned up within a couple hours and repairs are in progress.
All hospital staff are to be commended for a job well done !
