The main key idea we want to remember from this section in the book would be the definition and explanations of faith. Faith can be defined in two basic ways. The secular definition of faith is 1.allegiance to a duty or a person: loyalty  2. belief and trust in and loyalty to God; belief in the traditional doctrines of a religion.  3. Something that is believed, especially with strong conviction. This definition also says that faith means complete trust or believing in something even though you do not have absolute certainty that you are correct. Faith, in the secular sense, is also considered a calculated risk. On the other hand the Catholic definition of faith is an intellectual assent to a loving God and His revelation. Catholicism also says that Faith is these seven things: a grace, a free human response, a risk, reasonable, certain, seeks understanding, and a virtue.

1. On important idea that I want to remember from this section are the meanings of the four cardinal virtues. The first one is justice which is displaying fairness toward others. The second one is prudence which is sound judgement in practical matters. The third one is fortitude which is the ability to bear misfortune patiently. And the last one is temperance which means nothing taken to excess, everything in moderation.
2. Another key idea that I want to remember is the definition and explanation of grace. Catholics say that faith in God is a grace, or supernatural gift. Grace is considered a favor, and is the free and undeserved help that God gives us to help us respond to his call to become partakers in the divine nature and eternal life. Its also a participation in the life of God, and Trinitarian Life as well. Grace is considered the most excellent work of God's mercy, and a relationship with God would be impossible unless God approaches us first.
3. The last key idea that I want to remember is that Faith is the Golden way. There are two extremes when dealing with beliefs. The first one is Nihilism which is a viewpoint that traditional values and beliefs are unfounded and that existence is senseless and useless; a doctrine that denies any objective ground of truth, especially moral truth. The other extreme is radicalism which means undoubtingly believing something is true without any evidence to support that belief, or in spite of strong evidence contrary to that beliefs.

How can I use both the secular, and Catholic definitions of faith to further understand and strengthen my own Faith in The Almighty?

One thing that I should try to do to make myself a more faithful person is to fully understand and follow the Four Cardinal virtues. With such virtues as Prudence, Justice, Temperance, and Fortitude anyone can become a much more faithful person.
