 MACHO DANCER

In this unflinching look at alternative sexuality, Lee and Brocka take the viewer on a tragic journey that plumbs the depths of the sleazy world of male go-go dancers; enter the shadowy boundaries of hustlers and hookers; and uncovers new territories in the seedy milieu of contemporary Filipino life. Jacklyn Jose won well-deserved recognition for her role as a hardened, cynical prostitute.
