My Christian Friend

My Christian friend, can you not see? Your brother, he dies before your eyes, and yet you stand hands to the sky, waiting for God to shed his light, to show you how to live your life. My Christian friend, behavior's fine. Perspective, your view, is flawed, untrue to what the needs of others are. Look past the house and fancy car to hordes of eyes that form one scar. * * * My Christian friend, what does God do? Your brother, he sweats while you invest in things that bring ache to his bones and yet you say it's from the Throne when you amass wealth in your home. My Christian friend, where is your God? Our culture, it turns the more we learn of what we've done and how we change the world ourselves free of God's reign and gradu'lly "God" seems so strange.
