Welcome to ...
C & C BIRD FARMS
A little about us..
We are a small rescue and breeding facility for exotic birds. We are located in central Georgia about 20 minutes south of Atlanta on Ga 85. Actually we are in Riverdale for those of you who are familiar with Atlanta.

Both my husband and I have always loved birds that is sort of how I got in the business of birds. I had one, then two, then three, well any of you who are bird people know the fever once you get it it is an incurable disease!! Somebody should call the CDC. LOL

Well, anyway there was a real need in our area for a shelter for birds that were no longer wanted. These birds have no one to care for them and I have all the love in the world to share with each and everyone of them. I will take anything from finch to macaw.

Right now we only have the one outdoor aviary, but as money and time permits we are going to be adding another aviary for the larger birds that will allow them some free flight time.
This is already in the works but well as with all things that are worth it, the wait will pass quickly (just not quick enough). We are looking for a larger place out in the country somewhere in the neighborhood of Spalding or Pike County so if you know of anything EMail me.
My husband William runs a truck and equipment sales near the Farmers Market and I am recently out of the Military. I am at home with all of the birds, if I had a job I wouldn't have time to go to it. Which is ok with me this is what I have always wanted to do.

We have two daughters, one Vikki who is a manager at Walmart, and is engaged to a really great guy Tommy. Michelle, who works at UPS, and lives at home with me. I couldn't do this without the three of them. They take turns coming everyday to help clean cages, feed and water, feed babies, or just general housekeeping. They are great kids that we have passed on our love of birds to. I Love Ya'll!!
I have a 9 yo stepson, Justin who lives at home with his Mom in Jackson, but he is with us on the weekends. He always has time to spend with a bird on his way out the door to play and you know kids they can get to some of the birds that don't trust adults. I am so proud of him he is ADHD and this quarter he made the straight "A" honor roll!! Way to go Justin!!
