The Music Notation and Transposition Website

Background

My name is Peter Hatherley-Greene and I have been teaching brass music since 1985.  I have successfully taught over 300 students in both theory and practical in that time.

My interest in MIDI and computers developed in New Zealand and culminated in co-staging a "digital" musical called Anchors Away, based on the voyages of Captain Cook.

All the music was reproduced digitally using an Acorn PC and Roland U-20 synthesizer keyboard.

I have used Sibelius software since it first appeared in the 1990's on the Acorn platform - I now have the latest version for the PC and a Korg N-5 synthesizer keyboard.
