On Stewie's first birthday, Peter kidnaps a circus for entertainment, Stewie runs away from home, and Meg makes a new friend who is in a suicidal cult.

Stewie’s birthday party is to be held at Cheesy Charlie’s which is a parody of Chuck E. Cheese’s.

 

When Peter reminisces about his school years it is a parody of West Side Story (1961).

In one scene the band Hanson pulls up in their tour bus and Peter mistakes them for the Children of the Corn (1984).

 

Peter shows some of his retro t-shirts.

   

Stewie reenacts the attack on the Death Star from Star Wars (1977) when he recalls his conception.

Stewie mentions Attica like Al Pacino did in Dog Day Afternoon (1975).

While in Cheesy Charlie’s you can see classic kid’s entertainment including parodies of Whac-a-Mole, the ball pit and the Claw Machine.

   

Peter mentions Hong Kong Phooey (1974-1975).

Peter loses his The Dukes of Hazzard (1979-1985) watch in the Claw Machine and then gets in an argument with the manager while Waylon Jennings narrates (just like on The Dukes of Hazzard).

 

Stewie reads Soldier of Fortune magazine.

Peter claims to have turned into The Incredible Hulk (1978-1982) when telling Lois how he lost the Cheesy Charlie’s reservation.

There is a reference to Spalding Gray (an unfortunately little known actor and humorist). Please see the IMDb for a complete listing of his works.

Brian chases the Gravy Train Chuckwagon into the kitchen.

The McDonald’s Happy Meal was referenced.

There was a Three Little Pigs parody.

There was a reference made to UPS.

Peter gets hit with a paint can just like in Home Alone (1990).

Martha Stewart was referenced.

The creepy man in the shop was dressed like Spider-Man.

We find out that Stewie’s middle name is Gilligan most assuredly from the character on Gilligan’s Island (1964-1967).

Stewie freezes a man in carbonite like Han Solo in The Empire Strikes Back (1980).

Peter takes over and leads the circus to his house just like the band was led astray in Animal House (1978).

Meg joins a cult and the leader looks a lot like Marshall Applewhite of the Heaven’s Gate Cult.

A copy of Couplehood by Paul Reiser is add to the cult’s poison punch.

Jesus turns water into wine then turns the party into a disco.

The Judds were made fun of.

Al Roker was mentioned.

Peter calls Stewie “Little Buddy” while he is in his little sailor’s outfit. Just like the Skipper and Gilligan.

At the end all the character turn into their disco alter egos.
