SHOW DESCRIPTION

Peter crashes into a satellite dish, knocking out the city's TV, and blames it on Meg. However, Peter does rediscover the rest of life when he can no longer sit in front of the boob-tube all day. Stewie schemes to eradicate broccoli.

During a The Wizard of Oz (1939) tornado dream you can spot ALF (1986-1990), Gilligan from Gilligan's Island (1964-1967), the robot from Lost in Space (1965-1968), Jeannie from I Dream of Jeannie (1965-1970) and Samantha from Bewitched (1964-1972).

         

When Peter is wearing his homemade TV he mentions the following networks with their stereotypical audiences: Lifetime (women), CBS (old people) and UPN (African Americans).

   

Charles Manson appears from prison.

Peter talks about Beverly Hills, 90210 (1990-2000).

The old Raisin Bran Sun comes out with his two scoops.

Lois catches the Creature from the Black Lagoon (1954).

At the fair the German Bratwurst vendor takes over the Polish Sausage Vendor (on September 1, 1938 Germany invaded Poland) and then eyes the Czechoslovakian Weiner vendor (Germany invades Czechoslovakia in 1939).
