Championship History       Numbers in brackets signify No. of times Champion

May 2002        Chris Pentdragon (1) Defeats Doctor Parr in a Hell in a Cell match to become the 1st ever undisputed Champion.

June 2002       Chris Pentdragon (1) retains title again against Doctor Parr. Manny Montaro becomes number 1 contender.

Early July 2002        Doctor Parr (1) beats Chris Pentdragon (1) to become Undisputed Champion, watched by other player Jon Grove. Notable by his absence was number 1 contender Manny Montaro.

Mid July 2002        Doctor Parr (1) stripped of title due to circumstances of unknown health. Parr was later found to be alive and in a fair condition. An automatic number 1 contender spot would be his consolation.

Mid July 2002        Chris Pentdragon (2) beats Manny Montaro by disqualification after a back and forth 17-framer becoming a disputed champion, but champion nevertheless. The match was seen as a classic, with an incredible climax.

Late July 2002        Manny Montaro contested the Number 1 contenders spot with Parr(1). Parr won, only to be annihilated by Champion Chris Pentdragon(2).

Parr(1) faced Manny, if he won another No.1 contenders match would have to take place. If lost Mantis would get a title shot... Parr(1) choked on his big chance, and let Mantis steal a victory.

Pentdragon(2) faced Mantis for the title, and after dominating felt a cruel blow. The black was potted, but the white hit Mantis' remaining ball and went in, giving Mantis(1) his first title.

Early August 2002        Mantis(1) retained against Chris Pentdragon(2) after Pentdragons potted black cruely lept out of the pocket. Mantis(1) then decided to put his title up once more for the week, and Pentdragon(2) beat Parr(1) in a No.1 contenders Casket match to yet again face the current title holder.

Pentdragon(3) beat Mantis(1) to become the 1st ever 3 time champion. In an incredible shock victory Parr(2) beat Pentdragon(3) straight after, and with Mantis(1) still being No.1 contender after loosing his title, Parr(2) faced Mantis(1). Mantis(2) came from behind after at one point being 7:2 down to become a 2 time champion.

Mid August 2002        Sam Pointer defeats both Parr(2) and Mantis(2) in her PCW debut matches. Chris Pentdragon(4) beats a very disgruntled and out of form Mantis(2), then right after Mantis(3) wins it back. Chris Pentdragon(5) then defeats Mantis(3) again, and retains the title for the rest of the day. A dissilusioned Mantis(3) then quits PCW.

Late August 2002        Mantis(3) sensationally returns to PCW, and in a non-title match destroyed Chris Pentdragon(5). Mantis(3) then lost in cruel circumstances as he then faced Pentdragon(5) for the title, when a ball lept out of the pocket after seemingly being potted.     Dr Parr(2) managed a huge upset however and defeated Pentdragon(5) just moments later after a dire perfomence from the "Bone Man". Pentdragon(6) quickly won it back. Mantis(3), Pentdragon(5) and Parr(3) then had a Triple Threat Casket match. Parr(4) won, beating Mantis(3) after Pentdragon(6) potted the Dead Ball by mistake. Dr Parr(4) successfully defended the title against Sam Pointer. In the last match of the day Pentdragon(7) made easy work of Parr(4) and became Champion once more. A bitter Mantis later gave Pentdragon a devastating Gore outside.

Early September 2002         "Mind Games"         The day started with an in-form Dr Parr(4) scoring a hat-trick of victories over Mantis(3). The revitalised Parr(5) then had a shock victory over Pentdragon(7). Pentdragon(8) quickly won it back, and a demoralised Mantis(3) suffered the first ever "7 Ball Stunna" in the following title match. Parr's(6) day got even better when he again beat Pentdragon(8), but yet again lost it right after. Mantis(3) suddenley didnt care anymore and played all manner of risky shots againts Parr for a No1 contender spot. Mantis(3) played a very strange game, seemingly trying to delay Parr(6), who had to meet his father in 5 minutes time, more than actually trying to win the match. He did this by strutting around slowly, taking 2 minutes before he even decided which ball to go for and even missing shots on purpose to drag it out. Parr(6) eventually won and rushed off to see his dad. Mantis then demanded a "Career Match" for the title. Either he beat Pentdragon(9) or would quit PCW. A new "Killer" Mantis(4) emerged and beat Pentdragon(9) in the final match of an eventful day, was he just playing Mind Games?

Late October 2002         "The Return"         With Mantis(4) bragging about being the longest running champion he had to prove he deserved it, but Parr(6) and Pentdragon(9) were all set to take home the title for the first time in 6 weeks. It all started so promisingly for Pent(9) as Mantis requested a warm-up match for the first defense of the day against Parr. Pent almost annihilated the champ, who almost seemed worried. Parr(6) was looking to go the same way and was down to the black when Mantis pulled a comeback from a seemingly impossible position, two mantis kuttahs later and it was all over. Neither Pent(9) or Parr(6) managed to de-throne the king with five title shots between them (2 for Pent, 3 for Parr) so instead Parr turned his attention to the faulty condom machine.
