German Aircraft Carrier

Graf Zeppelin is still the only aircraft carrier ever built by Germany. Construction of the ship was halted frequently and she was never finished and commissioned. At least she materailized the German dream to have a carrier.
Seydlitz was originally designed as a heavy cruiser but work was canceled. In 1942, work resumed to convert her into a carrier. The conversion was not complete when the war came to an end.
