Tator Tot Bakedish
This is a really good recipe my mom used to make!

Brown ground beef with onion and garlic. Combine with remaining ingredients in a large casserole dish. Bake at 325 degrees for approximately 30 to 45 minutes.

Sweet Pancakes
This pancake recipe is from my Aunt Judy in Milwaukee and they are the best!
  • 3 tsp. baking powder
  • 1 1/2 cups flour
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 1/2 cups milk
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 Tbsp melted oleo
Mix together baking powder, flour, salt milk and eggs. Add the melted oleo to this. Cook in a frying pan over medium heat.

Pat's Potatos
This recipe came from my Aunt Pat. Everyone loves these easy, very fattening potatos!

  • 2 lbs frozen hash browns (thawed)
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 8 ox shredded Cheddar cheese
  • 1 pint sour cream
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp garlic salt
  • 2 cans cream of chicken soup
Topping (optional)
  • 2 cups crushed corn flakes or potato chips
  • 3/4 stick melted butter
Combine hash browns, onions, cheddar cheese, sour cream, salt, garlic salt and soup in a large bowl. Mix and pour into greased 9x13 pan. Mix corn flakes and butter and put on top of previous mixture. Bake at 350 deg. for 1 hr 15 min. You can also add ham or chicken to make this dish a full meal.

Forgotten Stew
This is the easiest beef stew I've ever made. It has a very good flavor and you don't have to mess around with making gravy.

  • 2 lbs. beef cut into pieces
  • 1 large can tomatoes
  • 8 oz. or so of frozen peas
  • 2 onions cut up
  • celery
  • 3 Tbls. tapioca
  • Potatos - 3 or 4 cut up
  • 1 scant Tbls. sugar
  • 2 beef boullion cubes
  • salt and pepper
Combine all ingredients in casserole dish or pot. Cook for about 6 hours at 250 degrees.
