The mens senior team lost to N.Ultan last weekend.
Three ladies teams competed for the Tomas Britton cup last Sunday at the school field.
Enniskillen, Bundoran and Pettigo put up some great football and again well done to all the girls. Enniskillen made the best of a late spell where they bagged a couple of goals taking the cup down the Erne.

The members of the club would like to wish newly weds Shane and Sue Kee every happiness after their marriage last Friday the 24th in Pettigo.
Shane ran into Sue while in Sydney, Australia, but she didnt hold that against him.
We look forward with anticipation to seeing another generation of Mighty Kees gracing the hallowed School field turf in the future.

Congratulations to Paul Johnston who won 7,900 euro in our club lotto recently. We are delighted again that this money went to a young familly who continue to help and support the club. Thats over 25,000 euro in prizes in the last 12 months!

The ladies team had their last game of the season recently when they played Kilcar at home in the second round of the championship. Some bright attacking football from both team however Kilcar's experience won through at the end. Another great performance by all the girls with a large crowd out to support them. Many thanks to Willie Britton, Gerry McIntyre and Dudsie for all their help and support.

Congratulations to our brillant ladies team who won their first Championship match against N.Brid last Monday the 13th at home. In what was always going to be a tight contest the Pettigo girls delivered a very high standard of football.

The anticipated rainfall held off long enough to let everyone enjoy all the races and novelty games at this years Sports day.

The Sports day dance was held in Potters bar later in the evening. The Logues, an excellent band from Tyrone, had everyone out dancing from the start. A great night's crack, many thanks to Potters and our many kind sponsors.

Unfortunately, due to an advertisement issue, it was decided to postpone the auction of the signed and framed picture of Cormac McAnallen to a later date. We will release the date and venue here

It was with great sadness that the town learnt of the death of Julie McAndrews last Thursday the 5th of July. We extent our sincerest sympathy to all her family and friends.
The under16 played in the county final last Friday evening against a very strong Fanad team. Dispite loosing this was a brave effort from a very young squad and we know that they have their day soon.

The second leg of the championship was held last Sunday with Pettigo loosing to Lifford at home. A much better performance than the first leg however some poor shooting and over carrying of the ball let Lifford in with an easy chance to gain a winning lead by half time.Some good performances with Michael O'Riordan(Picture) making an excellent debut.

Well done to our mighty under 10's who won several matches in an excellent U10 Blitz held in N. Brid. All the children played great football with Sean Robinson scoring the goal of the competition.
Between weddings and concerts Pettigo travelled to Lifford with basically a new team, again. Fair play to all the lads who travelled to make up a team which unfortunately was no match for an excellent Lifford squad. On a positive point it was great to see Seamie Monaghan back in a maroon jersey again.

The ladies team had a friendly against Irvinstown on Monday evening. A strict Willie Britton kept the a fast moving game flowing with Pettigo winning 4:6 to 3:4. Very good performance by all the girls in particular Eimear Johnston and Lisa Leonard.

The Senior team lost to Letterkenny Gaels on Saturday the 19th by a point dispite great work from the lads, particularly from Aidie(Picture) and Tommy Britton. Thats two games in a row where a single score robbed the lads of much needed league points. Keep up the work.
A very young and understrength ladies team lost to an experienced Glencolmcile ladies side on Sunday the 13th in Pettigo.A great second half effort by all the girls and dispite the result this game should prove invaluable to the girls as they continue to improve.

The GAA Buffet dance which was held Mylers on Sunday the 6th of May was a great success.
Brian Roper brought up the recently won League Cup to the function. The Mucky Ducks had everyone on their feet and after the buffet presentations were made, more....

The mens senior team lost to N Colmcille last Saturday the 12th of May at home.A very disappointing result for the lads but we hope to have the rest of the team back shortly.

An understrength senior team lost away to Lifford last Saturday the 5th of May. Many thanks to those lads who stepped in to cover those absent. Star man of the day was the youthfull Johnny Robinsson who put in a mighty performance up front.
The Duck Derby which was planned for Monday the 7th of May has had to be called off. Union leaders representing the ducks raised concerns over the lack of water in the river Termon. A resolution was agreed by all sides to postpone the race to a later date.
The ladies played Belleck in a friendly last Friday evening the 4th of May at home. Some great goals from Ursula Leonard and Regina Shallow helped by a young full forward line, Nadine McCormac, Rachel Leonard and Emer Johnston.

An understrength senior team lost to a speedy R.Emmets squad at home last Sunday in the School field. Dispite starting the game very strongly Pettigo found the speed of the R.Emmets attack hard to deal with. A brave effort by all the lads with the welcome sight of Stephen Murphy, Conor Moss and Dinny Keegan donning the maroon jersey again.
The members of the Executive committee met last Sunday the 29th in the Changing rooms.Several key issues were raised including player insurance and training for the clubs defliberator.With the Donegal v Armagh match coming up members are reminded to have their requests in early.

The ladies had their first run out of the year on Wednesday the 18th April against a lively Bundoran team.
The Pettigo girls, driven on by new team captain Stacey Hall(picture), had an excellent first game however some tired legs in the second half allowed Bundoran in to win at the end.
Some excellent football from Ursula Leonard, Christina McGrath and Regina Shallow.

The senior team lost to Convoy last Saturday the 14th of April in Pettigo by four points.
Dispite the result the lads put in a great performance with young Marty McGrath(picture)scoring the only goal of the match.

The under 12�s had a home match last monday and put in a great performance winning. The pettigo forwards scoring power was vital in deciding the game.
The under 16's lost at home on thursday but there was great improvement from the boys with Michael ORiodan, Kevin Eves and Jamie McCafferety all playing well...

Congratulations to Christina McGrath who was selected onto the Donegal U-16 ladies team.
Christina has been bagging goals for Pettigo and we've no doubt she'll continue the habit at County level.

Congratulations to Ursula leonard who was selected onto the Donegal ladies team.
Ursula, at 16 years of age, is the first Pettigo person since Big Pat McCrea to represent Donegal at Senior football level.
