| Course: The race will start and end on beautiful St. Feriole Island. Click here for route details. Runners will start at 7:30 a.m. with walkers following at 7:45 a.m. The course will remain open until 11:30 a.m. Aid stations and medical personnel will not be available after that time. No bikes, strollers, or rollerblades allowed. Race will be held rain or shine. Open course in pdf here. This file is 2.16 MB. |

| Aid stations: Aid stations will be located along the route to provide participants with water and Gatorade (or similar) sports drinks. |

| Facilities: Bathroom facilities will be available at start, finish, and other locations along the course. Parking will be available near course start and finish line. Police and medical personnel will be on hand throughout the course. |

| Awards: Finisher medals will be given to all walkers and runners who complete the race. The walk is non-competitive. An awards ceremony for runners will be held at 11:00 a.m. with medals awarded to the 1st place male and female finishers overall. In addition, medals will be awarded to the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place male and female finishers in each age category. Age groups will be 19 and under, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, etc. up to 60 and above. All participants will receive a t-shirt and goodie bag. |

Country Inn & Suites of Prairie du Chien is the host hotel. For reservations call 608-326-5700 and mention PdC Half-Marathon to receive your discounted rate. The hotel contains Bear Foot Bay Indoor Water Park, complete with hot-tub and poolside restaurant service. A free expanded continental breakfast is provided to all guests. Course Talk / Pre-Race / Post Race Events: A marathon course talk with Willie La Bonne from Speedzone Sports Performance , will take place on Friday evening at 6:00 p.m. during the Pasta Buffet which will be held from 5:00 - 8:00 p.m. at the Country Inn & Suites & Cost for the buffet is $10.00 and includes tax and gratuity. |

| Packet Pickup: You may pick up your packet at the Country Inn & Suites from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m.on Friday, May 2nd. Race day packet pick up will be near the race start beginning at 6:00 a.m. Race day registration ends at 7:00 a.m. Timing chips will be distributed on race day only. |
