They offer an authentic shooting experience without the dangers of a real gun. Designed in Japan as a tactical training device, airsoft was quickly adopted by survival-game enthusiasts throughout Asia as an alternative to paintball. Airsoft guns come in many styles including handguns, shotguns, sniper rifles, and automatic/sub-machine guns. These guns are built to scale (1:1 to the real gun), and built to last.            Airsoft guns are primarily composed of molded ABS resin and die-cast metal parts such as barrel, sights, magazines (clips), cocking handle, trigger, etc. The resulting style and durability of the guns are unquestionable. Plus, most airsoft guns come standard with an adjustable "Hop-Up" feature. This device consists of a detent that drops in front of the BB in order to spin the projectile backwards for controllable trajectory and enhanced accuracy!
