encouraged me to continue writing poetry when I
was ill with depression. Thanks Pastor Trisler!
My life was so sin-wrecked,
Until touched by the Master Architect.
He picked up every broken part,
And put in me a brand new heart.
He molded me with gentle hands,
Even in times of reprimands.
And each day He is working still,
To help me do the Father's will.
So now I can hold my head erect,
For I was touched by the Master Architect.

He's the horn of my salvation,
He's the captain of my soul,
He shed His precious blood,
To redeem and make me whole.
He's my gentle shepherd,
As He leads where I should go.
He's my loving teacher,
As He gives what I should know.
He is my strength each day,
He's my armor and my shield,
He helps me withstand Satan,
So to temptation I'll not yield.

Our trials and trouble indeed would pale,
By those of Paul and Silas in that Philippian jail.
Did they grumble that faith filled day,
They sure did not, they began to pray.
And as they prayed the earth did shake,
And the bands they wore began to break.
Then the jailer awoke in great alarm,
But Paul said "Do thyself no harm,
For all the prisoners are still here."
Then the jailer fell before Paul in fear,
And as Paul spoke the Word of the Lord,
The jailer was calmed and put away his sword.
He learned of Jesus and a joy that would not cease,
And told Paul and Silas to depart in peace.
So dear friends when our trials come,
Let's not fall apart and be fearful as some,
But rather get on our knees and begin to pray,
And great things will happen in that day.

Secure in my salvation,
So rich and so free,

That Jesus loves me.

When I met my Savior,
What love He showed to me,
As He took my sin-wrecked life,
And made it into what He,
WANTED!
What He wants for me,
Is to live for Him each day,
And as He molds my life,
I just want to say,
THANKS LORD!
When at last in heaven,
I see Him face to face,
I will eternally thank Him,
For the mercy and the grace,
HE SHOWED!
