Miniature Quilts from Our Auction Over a dozen of the quilts from our miniature quilt auction are displayed on this page. We are proud to have raised over $600 to benefit the local chapter of the American Cancer Society.
"Patchwork of Sisters" Block Exchange
Several months before this guild formed, Linda Harker, our founding President, instigated a block exchange between a group of local quilters. She chose a block named "Patchwork of Sisters" from the Australian Patchwork Magazine. It was such a fun, bonding, experience that Linda and the founding members knew it was THE name for our guild.
Kiwi's Challenge Shirley Brown, Vice President during our first two years, issued this challenge based on a block pattern from Traditional Quiltworks called "Mom's Unwanted Block". We were each given a color that had to be included, but the rest was up to us!
