Blessings to you in Heaven Beloved Mother!

Be A Queen

Be a queen. Dare to be different.
Be a pioneer. Be a leader.
Be the kind of woman who in the face of adversity
will continue to embrace life and walk fearlessly
toward the challenge.
Take it on! Be a truth seeker and rule your domain,
whatever it is--your home, your office, your family
with a loving heart.
Be a queen. Be tender.
Continue to give birth to new ideas
and rejoice in your womanhood. . .
My prayer is that we will stop wasting time
being mundane and mediocre. . .
We are daughters of God--here to teach
the world how to love. . .
It doesn't matter what you've been through,
where you come from, who your parents are
--nor your social or economic status.
None of that matters.
What matters is how you choose to love,
how you choose to express that love through your work,
through your family,
through what you have to give to the world. . .
Be a queen. Own your power and your glory!
~Oprah

And as we let our own light shine,
we unconsciously give other people permission
to do the same.
As we are liberated from our fear,
our presence automatically liberates others.

Have a safe and happy Canada Day weekend

"One of the biggest contributors
to low-energy fatigue is blame.
Blaming a boss who made you work late or your
"impossible, overloaded life"
will only drain you.
Fatigue from emotional energy drain
results in diminished presence during the workday."

Our daughter Kim's most loving and beautiful friend
Lisa Liburdi has passed away very suddenly
Lisa was loved by all and everyone is deeply saddened
By her sudden death and we send love and prayers
To her loving family and many friends and her fur angels
Lisa adored animals and watched our Abbey and Spencer for us at one time
She will be deeply missed
Those who live forever in our hearts are never far away

A Message of Sympathy and of Hope

Beyond the edge of time
There is a place where happiness and rest wait hand in hand
The sunlight skips across the very face of God
BR> It is a place where everlasting peace
has embraced your loved one
And taken this very special person home
May it greatly strengthen you to know
That a loving God always knows best
God bless you Lisa we will all miss you

Happy first day of summer!

Summer's Embrace:

The scent of roses
The shadow of the moon
Oh how glorious the month of June
The first day of summer
Salute to grads and Dad's and brides
All of us are smiling wide!~

Barbecued dinners
served upon the deck with windchimes softly heard
They play a melody so sweet
and yes I embrace that casual feeling
It can wait until tomorrow.
The pace is divine.

On a pale moonlit night
We are serenaded by a crickets orchestra
We define our destiny under the stars
I bid you hello sweet summer
And if God is willing I will welcome you again
Next year at this time.

When I was little,
I used to believe in the concept of one best friend,
and then I started to become a woman.
And then I found out that if you allow your heart to open up,
God would show you the best in many friends.

One friend is needed when you're going
through things with your man.
Another friend is needed when you're going
through things with your mom.
Another when you want to shop, share, heal, hurt, joke, or just be.
One friend will say, "Let's cry together,"
another, "Let's fight together,"
another, "Let's walk away together."

One friend will meet your spiritual need,
another your shoe fetish,
another your love for movies,
another will be with you in your season of confusion,
another will be your clarifier,
another the wind beneath your wings.
But whatever their assignment in your life,
on whatever the occasion,
on whatever the day,
or wherever you need them to meet you
with their gym shoes on and hair pulled back,
or to hold you back from making
a complete fool of yourself ...
those are your best friends.

It may all be wrapped up in one woman,
but for many,
it's wrapped up in several...
one from 7th grade,
one from high school,
several from the college years,
a couple from old jobs,
on some days your mother,
on some days your neighbour,
on others, your sisters,
and on some days, your daughters.

So whether they've been your friend for 20 minutes or 20 years,
Treasure them, tell them you love them
and be sure to realize
that God has placed in your life
to make a difference.

Father's Day
When a Father takes a child by the hand
He takes the Mother by the heart

Fathers build dreams out of paper airplanes
Find stars even in the stormiest skies
And write symphones from the sound of laughter

Friday, again, and the weeks are flying by
One look ahead is better than two looks behind
~Irish Proverb

Little of Life's Reminders
1. There are at least two people in this world that you would die for.
2. At least 15 people in this world love you in some way.
3. The only reason anyone would ever hate
you is because they want to be just like you.
4. A smile from you can bring happiness to anyone.
5. Every night, SOMEONE thinks about you before they go to sleep.
6. You mean the world to someone.
7. You are special and unique.
8. Someone you don't even know exists, loves you.
9. When you make the biggest mistake ever, something good comes from it.
10. When you think the world has turned its back on you
... take another look.
11. Always remember the compliments you received.
Forget about the rude remarks.

Of my favorites from a woman I greatly admire my Oprah
The roses, the lovely notes, the dining and dancing
are all welcome and splendid.
But when the Godiva is gone,
the gift of real love is having someone who'll
go the distance with you.
Someone who, when the wedding day limo breaks down,
is willing to share a seat on the bus.
-- Oprah Winfrey

Me on my 21st birthday with my precious Mother
I treasure my Mother and Grandmother dearly
My 2 earth angels that raised me
If you have your Mother cherish her

my Mom that I love her one more
time before she passed away."

When we take the time to look back on all we've done
and said, accomplished and accumulated
over the years
What stands out as most important is not anything that can
be collected, appraised, or locked away
What stays in the heart and mind
Are moments shared with people we love
When our spirits were touched by a smile
A hug or a kind word
Those are the things I treasure
My own unique heartwarming memories of
Times shared with people like you!

Photograph taken today April 18th on one of my adventures

Always leave room in your garden for fairies to fly
Enjoy every ounce of your days!

Real happiness lies within yourself!
Instead of searching for it in all kinds of places
Our skill must lie in finding happiness where we are!

"Kindred spirit,
the very fabric of you is so familiar
It seems we are woven of the same thread"
~Lewis Carter

A Mother Teresa Quote:
Everybody today seems to be in such a terrible rush,
anxious for greater developments and greater
riches and so on,
so that children have very little time for their parents.
Parents have very little time for each other,
and in the home begins the disruption of peace of the world.

Ah spending time outdoors in Spring
I am embracing my bliss!!!!!!

Today begins, the present, the gift
The past a memory, the future anticipated
Unwrap the gift; raise your heart;
Hear life's symphony, and let your spirit soar

As we grow up, we learn that even the one person that
wasn't supposed to ever let you down probably will.
You will have your heart broken probably
more than once and it's harder every time.
You'll break hearts too, so remember how it felt
when yours was broken.
You'll fight with your best friend.
You'll blame a new love for things an old one did.
You'll cry because time is passing too fast,
and you'll eventually lose someone you love.
So take too many pictures,
laugh too much, and love like
you've never been hurt because
every sixty seconds you spend
upset is a minute of happiness you'll never get back
So Treasure those you have and
if you are lucky enough to have people love you
......tell them often how much you love them as well.

Our lives are a rich tapestry
Of things we have done and said
With memories of those we love
Outlined in golden thread

"If you were all alone in the universe
with no one to talk to,
no one with which to share
the beauty of the stars,
to laugh with, to touch,
what would be your purpose in life?
It is other life, it is love,
which gives your life meaning.
This is harmony.
We must discover the joy of each other,
the joy of challenge, the joy of growth."
-Mitsugi Saotome

One of my favorite poems

I Carry Your Heart by E. E. Cummings

I carry your heart with me
(I carry it in my heart)
I am never without it
(anywhere I go you go, my dear;
and whatever is done
by only me is your doing,my darling)
I fear
no fate(for you are my fate,my sweet)
I want no world(for beautiful you are my world,
my true)
and it's you are whatever a moon has always meant
and whatever a sun will always sing is you.

Here is the deepest secret nobody knows
(here is the root of the root and the bud of the bud
and the sky of the sky of a tree called life;
which grows higher than the soul can hope or mind can hide)
and this is the wonder that's keeping the stars apart
I carry your heart(I carry it in my heart)
It moved me to tears as it always does!!!!

Great minds discuss ideas;
Average minds discuss events;
Small minds discuss people
Eleanor Roosevelt
(American United Nations Diplomat,
Humanitarian and First Lady (1933-45),
wife of Franklin D. Roosevelt, 32nd US president. 1884-1962)

Time passes, life happens, distance separates
Children grow up, jobs come and go
Love waxes and wanes
Men don't call when they say they will
Hearts get broken
Parents die, colleagues forget favors, careers end
But.....girlfriends are there no matter how much time
and how many miles are between you
A girlfriend is never farther away
than needing her can reach
When you have to walk that lonesome valley
and you have to walk by yourself
Your girlfriends will be on the valley's rim
cheering you on
praying for you
pulling for you
intervening on your behalf
and waiting with open arms at the valley's end
Sometimes, they will even break the rules to walk beside you
Or come in and carry you out
Girlfriends bless our lives
The world would not be the same without them
Wehn we began this adventure called womanhood
we had no idea of the incredible joys and sorrows that lay ahead
Nor did we know how much we would need each other
Every day we need each other still
I am so very blessed with a multitude of wonderful friends
I thank God for each one of you!

Every day, we have a chance to live from
lower energies or higher ones.
We can blame or we can bless;
we can judge or we can forgive;
we can complain or we can contribute.
Those choices determine who we are in the world,
and what kind of world we're creating
for ourselves and those around us.
~Marianne Williamson

Spread love everywhere you go:
first of all in your own house
Give love to your children,
to your wife or husband, to a next door neighbor
Let no one ever come to you without
leaving better or happier.
Be the living expression of Gods kindness;
kindness in your face,
kindness in your eyes,
kindness in your smile;
kindness in your warm greeting.
~Mother Teresa

"At the end of life
We will not be judged by how many diplomas
We have received, or how much money we have made
How many great things we have done
We will be judged by "I was hungry and you gave me food
I was naked and you clothed me
I was homeless and you took me in."
Hungry not only for bread, but hungry for love
Naked not only for clothing, but naked for human dignity
and respect
Homeless not only for want of room of bricks
But homeless because of rejection."
Mother Teresa, 1910-1997
Roman Catholic Missionary

Live your life by the word of God
It's the only key to Heaven!

Beginning the day,
I see that life is a miracle
Attentive to each moment,
I keep my mind clear like a calm river
Waking up this morning, I smile
Twenty-four brand new hours are before me
I vow to live fully in each moment
and to look at all beings with eyes of compassion
~Thich Nhat Hanh

To my darling husband
Thank you for your love and for you
Each and every day of the year!
When we are born, the soul we are given
Splits apart and half of it is given to someone else
So all of our lives we are looking
for the other half of our soul
And if we are lucky enough to ever find that person
Our soul says, "At last, I can rest.
I have found my missing half."
Then, it is said, we have found our soul mate
and we are happy and at peace
When I saw you, when we first met
You were familiar, you were known
When I saw you, when we first met
My heart recognized you as part of its own!
I love you with all of my heart!

This is my simple religion
There is no need for temples
No need for complicated philosophy
Our own brain, our own heart, is our temple
The philosophy is kindness!
~The Dalai Lama Tenzin Gyatso

That woman is wise
Who knows that one of the principal purposes
of life is to enjoy it!
Who learns not only from books
But from flowers, seashells, and stars
And from animals and children
From her own experience
and from the lives of others

To My Husband Paul:
The Promise
Across the years I will walk with you
in deep green forests;
on shores of sand
And then when our time on earth is through
In Heaven, too, you will have my hand
~Robert Sexton
