Please let us introduce ourselves

Pan Am. Gone but not forgotten

Everyone remembers Pan Am, once America's premier flag airline. China Clippers. The Berlin Airlift. Korean Evacuations. Viet Nam R&R Flights and Desert Storm deployment. Passenger and cargo flights around the world to over 80 countries. The first airline with both the Boeing 707s and the 747s.

The old Pan Am isn't flying any more. The once-proud airline went out of business a few years ago. But some of its still-proud ex-employees, the former PAA flight attendants, still keep their friendships intact and memories alive by working together, once again. This time it's for their favorite charities.

World Wings has over 30 chapters world-wide, and the chapter here in Seattle has over 100 members. And, now, the San Francisco Chapter has a similar program (Click here).

The Uniforms

The many former P.A.A. flight attendants in the Seattle Chapter support several local charities as well as CARE International.

And, right here in the Pacific Northwest, World Wings has preserved a great collection of Pan Am uniforms, spanning 50 years of the airline's history, from the 1940s to the early 90s. And they love the opportunity to occasionally wear them again!

So, why not combine the two -- wear their vintage uniforms and have some fun while raising donations for their charities?

Conditions of Engagement

If your function could use some class, some color, some history and some air-travel flavor, you might consider having these uniformed Pan Am flight attendants help make the event a success.

Please allow at least two weeks for us to organize your "crew." Remember, these are volunteers. (We do reserve the right to refuse inappropriate assignments.)

Contributions Tax-deductible

World Wings International is a certified 501.C.3 charitable organization, so donations are both appreciated and tax-deductible.

The amount of the requested donation will depend on the length of the event and the number of uniforms required. Of course you are always welcome to help our charities with an even more generous amount
