PROFILE

Who am I?

Coming on twenty-two years ago I was born in this country, London England to parents who’d emigrated here from Jamaica. I have been to Jamaica several times and I feel that I am lucky to have my feet in both countries. I am black and proud to be British! My heart is here but how I look belongs to the land of my parents.

A born artist, up and coming (further) fashion designer/Consultant/Model & Hairdresser.


Achievements:

  • i performed at the rocket complex based in holloway of north london dancing on the r&b set as a freesytle dancer for a company called new breed.
  • Modelled for hair shows at Hammersmith & West London College. After winning I then went on to compete at Brighton to compete against other colleges.
  • 2004-one of the 16 finalist contestent for Miss Jamaica UK
  • Been a part of a team at City and Islington College, course Btec ND Fashion and Clothing which help made costumes for performance based in king cross 2004 called…….. ,
  • Had own in house first fashion show in July collection called ‘I can’t Stand The Rain, presented outfits for a fashion degree course. My designs owed everything to the country of my parent’s birth. They were bright, vibrant, and stylish with a flavoured elegance.
  • 2005- worked with artist Reza who works at the Barbican centre to take part in completing an art piece based on ‘Words’ display at barbican centre.
