| Welcome to Pack 681 "Character Counts!" Pack 681 is part of the Sandlake District of the Central Florida Council of the Boy Scouts of America. Our pack is chartered by the PTO at Waterbrige Elementary School which is located at 11100 Galvin Drive, Orlando, Florida 32837. This page is meant to provide a quick over-view of our pack and cub scouting and provide resources for pack leaders, scouts, and families wishing to learn more about cub scouting. This website is updated frequently so add this page to your favorites and visit often for updates on news, information, events and activities. Our Dens meet four times a month. Each Den has two (2) den meetings, one (1) Go-See-It / Field Trip and (1) Pack Meeting where all the Dens meet to receive awards, achievements and performs skits based on the month's theme. All of our activities are designed for Cub Scouts and their families to have fun and achieve Cub Scouting's 12 Core Values. These values are primarily achieved through each den's program where the Scouts, along with their families play games, go on field trips, learn about nature, the community and the use of tools and craft work. As a Pack, we participate in activities such as family camping, the annual Blue and Gold Banquet, the Pinewood Derby and the Rain Gutter Regatta. We teach and show community spirit through activities such as recycling and the annual Scouting for Food Campaign. | IMPORTANT MESSAGE Tiger Den 1's Den Leader had to step down due to Family needs Therefore, it has become necessaru to CONSOLIDATE Tiger Dens 1&2. NO ONE IS BEING TRANSFERRED to Pack 999 at John Young Elementary nor is anyone being asked to do so. If you have any questions, please e-mail the Cubmaster at Cubmaster_Pack681@yahoo.com. *** DUES *** We're asking for your assistance in paying weekly dues in a timely manner. These funds go to pay for materials for den activities, awards and badges and other incidentals for the scouts. We thank you in advance for your help. BUDGET We are currently working on a Pack Budget. Once completed and approved, the budget will be posted on this website. Please conact your Den Leader or Cubmaster with any questions regarding this matter. HANDBOOK ACTIVITIES Parents, please make sure to acquire the handbook for your boy and work on memorizing The Cub Scout Promise and The Law of the Pack. These are iimportant for them to earn awards & badges.. UNIFORMS We are hoping to have all the boys in uniform for the next Pack Meeting on November 25th.
