to convert km/100 into mpg, (for us canehdeans) divide 282/km.
ie 10L/100km ==282/10 =28mpg (IMP)
or using 4/5 theory, to convert to US gallons. use 282 x .8 =@225
hence 10L/100km would be about 225/10= 22.5 mpg
